Illamtic V just dropped a new video with a famous familiar voice that we all know and love. The video is called, “Imagine”. This video highlights the content and tech platforms that we are innovating for the future. Check it out!
“Erik Underwood is the next Ted Turner of our time…Tell them I said that!”
“I grew up with great imagination. I also grew up in challenging circumstances which I had to overcome. I know all things are possible. In order for me to change the future, it will have to start with my imagination.”
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”
“The present is theirs; the future, for which I really worked, is mine.”
Illmatic Ventures, Corp. also affectionately known as Illmatic V, is a technology investment company, that also innovates proprietary digital content tech platforms. Our philosophy is technology first. We love pushing boundaries and revamping legacy media companies into media companies of the future. Illmatic V looks at the consumer/end user’s desire for interactive technology to enhance the entertainment and informational experience. We believe digital content should be lifelike and compelling. Our goal is to advance digital content technology and lead the global R&D race; to materialize and bring to life what we see in Star Wars and in Star Trek. Our team has developed next generation technology. A part of our philosophy is to bring the tech edge into our investment deals and acquisitions.
Erik Underwood is the Chairman of Illmatic Ventures, Corp. Erik developed and innovated My24’s broadcast platform and news content for mobile platforms. Erik owns the Erica IP (My24Erica.com) and several other ventures related to digital content and technology.
Media visionary Jerry Levin is the former CEO and Chairman of Time Warner. Jerry innovated the early stages of HBO, and later acquired Warner Bros. (D.C. Comics) which merged with Turner Broadcasting Systems (CNN, TBS). Jerry has been a key advisor and mentor to Erik since 2008.
Todd Olson is an accomplished computer scientist who was part of a team in the late 1990’s that innovated text messaging platforms for Disney. Todd and his team later found themselves bringing Erik’s My24 vision to life with AT&T. Today, Todd is a close advisor to Erik and Illmatic V.
Our investment deals focus on changing the legacy media landscape infrastructure,(Newspapers, TV Stations, Cable Networks, and other forms of Digital Media),and converting digital content into compelling video. By acquiring multimedia properties, we can then in turn push customizable content which the end user/users are engaged with our next generation tech platforms.
Illmatic V believes in spearheading innovation for the content that we acquire. Research and Development is a key component of our belief systems. Many companies throughout the years lost sight of what was coming around the corner. Among others, Blackberry is a good example of that, as is Blockbuster Video. Illmatic V has a good sense of what consumers want and more importantly, what is coming around the corner.
User Interface is another key component of Illmatic V. The end user or consumer must be compelled to use our platforms in their everyday life. Our Platforms and Content should become an integrated extension of our end user/consumer’s life.
Digital content comes in many forms, including news, movies, or web series. Not only does Illmatic V invests capital in digital content companies, and innovates tech platforms, we also produce content as well. Illmatic V is currently producing its’ first feature length animated movie from the mind of Erik Underwood.

Today, In a polarized world, the news should not be conflicted or polarized. News should be pure as snow. Trusted. Reliable. We believe that news should be just news, without the commentary and agendas that both right and left news organizations peddle to the public. We value true news. My24 was designed for true mobile use and attention spans. My24 has 11 categories of customizable video news on a platform that is revolutionary and forward thinking. As we make strategic acquisitions, Illmatic V will integrate My24’s content and technology into other forms of digital media. Watch a previously aired Show Biz section from My24’s Newswheel.
Question? What if you can bring art and engineering products to life as lifelike content. A virtual 3d printer if you will, that transforms the virtual into solid objects and hold it here in the real world. Star Trek the Next Generation called it a holodeck, we call it the HTI. We plan to unveil Version 1 of the HTI to the public within 7 – 10 years
